A popular summer-blooming plant for bouquets. It is an attractive, sturdy perennial. The small flower heads consist of 10 to 18 small flowers, and together form a spike. Extraordinarily, the top flower of the spike is the first to open. The colour is soft purple. Suitable for borders, backgrounds and as cut flower. Flowers in the 2nd year.
