The delectably fragrant lathyrus or sweet pea was already discovered in Sicily in the 17th century. A very productive climber that flowers for a long time and smells fantastic. Also excellent for cut flowers. Requires well-tilled and fertilized soil. Soak seeds for 6 hours before sowing.
