An old favourite. This biennial used to grace every garden and is still popular due to its decorative seed capsules, which appear after the violet and white blooms. To enjoy as dried flower, hang upside down and allow to dry. A host plant for cabbage white butterflies and a honey plant for honey bees and bumblebees. Flowers in the 2nd year.
